My Stars Hollow Quilt

Stars Hollow Quilt by Kim Soper Leland Ave Studios

This short and sweet post is to share a recent finish! Last month, I decided to make a quilt for a dear friend, and together we decided that a Stars Hollow Quilt would be the perfect design.

This pattern by Suzy Quilts comes together quite easily. Plus, you can’t beat the peanut butter and jelly color palette curated by Andrea at Cottoneer Fabrics!

I don’t often make other quilter’s patterns, usually because I am looking to experiment with the ideas already circulating in my brain. But lately, I’ve changed my ways. And I must admit, it’s been a pleasure to create while having some of the uncertainty taken out of the equation. Plus, the Stars Hollow Quilt pattern is just so cute!

The truth is, I’ve been working on a project behind the scenes for almost a year now. We are getting ready to share it with the world very, very soon. I am beyond excited, a bit terrified and extremely proud of what’s to come.

In the meantime, I’ll be gifting this quilt to my friend and savoring the time that we get to spend together. There is so much going on in life, it’s easy to get distracted. But working on this quilt has allowed me to stay present and to fill each stitch with love and intention. Exactly the kind of gift I love to give!
